Expanding the Lineup: More Choices, Greater Innovation
Nissan and INFINITI are strengthening their product offerings with an expanded lineup designed to meet evolving consumer preferences and regulatory shifts. The plan includes a wide range of new and refreshed models, showcasing the latest in electrification, fuel efficiency, and performance. The company is making significant investments in hybrid and EV technology, including the integration of Nissan’s latest e-POWER and plug-in hybrid systems, ensuring better energy efficiency and lower emissions.

All-New Nissan LEAF: A Revolutionary Redesign
The Nissan LEAF, one of the world’s best-selling electric vehicles, is entering its third generation with a bold new approach. This next-generation model has been completely reimagined as a sleek and spacious crossover, delivering an enhanced driving experience with improved aerodynamics and cutting-edge features. Built on the CMF-EV platform, the new LEAF will offer a panoramic moonroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, and an upgraded battery for extended range and better efficiency.
One of the standout advancements is the integration of the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port in models sold in North America. This move grants LEAF owners seamless access to Tesla’s vast Supercharger network, enhancing the convenience of fast-charging options. Nissan plans to reveal more specifications and design details in mid-2025, building anticipation for this highly awaited EV.
Next-Generation e-POWER: Enhanced Efficiency & Performance
Nissan’s revolutionary e-POWER technology is evolving, bringing greater efficiency and a more refined driving experience. Since its debut in 2016, e-POWER has been a game-changer by combining an electric motor’s smoothness with a highly efficient gasoline engine that charges the battery, eliminating the need for external charging.
The third-generation e-POWER system is set to improve fuel efficiency by 15% at high speeds compared to its predecessor. It features a new 1.5L dedicated engine optimized for better energy conversion, a refined powertrain system, and advanced noise reduction enhancements, making for a quieter and more comfortable ride. The rollout of this next-gen technology will start with the Nissan Qashqai in Europe in FY25, followed by the Rogue in North America in FY26, and later a large minivan in Japan.
