Hennessey has commenced the production of a limited edition Cadillac Escalade-V, boosting its power to an impressive 850 horsepower. This upgrade, developed by Hennessey, the renowned Texas-based hypercar manufacturer and high-performance vehicle creator, elevates the Escalade-V’s performance significantly. Through meticulous engineering, Hennessey enhances the hand-built, supercharged GM 6.2-liter V8 engine, increasing its output by 25 percent from the standard 682 horsepower. Torque also sees a substantial improvement, surging by 31 percent to reach 855 lb-ft. This transformation positions the ‘H850 Escalade-V’ as one of the fastest and most powerful full-size SUVs available.

Hennessey’s expert team undertakes a comprehensive overhaul of the Escalade-V’s powertrain, incorporating various enhancements such as a new air induction system, a ported supercharger, high-flow cylinder heads, a custom camshaft, an upgraded throttle body, and new intake and exhaust valves. Furthermore, after rigorous research and development, Hennessey applies its HPE engine management calibration to optimize performance. For added customization, owners of the H850 Escalade-V have the option to include Hennessey Performance 22-inch performance wheels, available in gloss black or polished silver.
In testing, Hennessey conducted a head-to-head comparison between the H850 Escalade-V and the 2024 RAM TRX, renowned as the pinnacle of full-size performance trucks. While the stock TRX boasts impressive acceleration, with a factory 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds and a quarter-mile sprint of approximately 12.3 seconds, the sheer power of the H850 Escalade-V allows it to surge ahead right from the start, finishing the run several truck lengths ahead of the TRX.

The production and testing regimen conducted by the Texas-based team includes a final performance evaluation on an AWD dyno and drivability assessments on Hennessey’s exclusive test track, the Pennzoil Proving Ground.
