A rendering of the Toyota Fortuner 2-Door SUV displays an unimaginable concept.
The Toyota Fortuner is one of the most popular SUVs in India. Toyota India has also introduced its pickup counterpart, the Hilux. Thanks to Toyota’s solid reliability and the vehicle’s off-road capabilities, the Fortuner has become an icon and has a lot of loyal customers.
Fortuner comes in a 5 door configuration that seats 7, but what if the Japanese automaker released a smaller version with 2 doors for the enthusiasts? Could this be a direct competitor to the Mahindra Thar, Force Gurkha, and Maruti Suzuki Jimny?
In this rendering by SRK Designs, the Fortuner has been tweaked to have a shorter wheelbase and 2-doors. There are also some rugged-looking wheels and all-terrain tyres on the concept SUV.
The section after the B-pillar has been transformed, giving the side profile a sharper appearance. A spare wheel has also been installed on the rear tailgate. The Fortuner 2-door concept also comes with a roof box.
