The made for India mid-sized SUV, Volkswagen Taigun is a perfect combination of style, practicality and sophistication for a modern Indian consumer. The SUV is built on the MQB A0 IN platform that was first introduced with the launch of the Skoda Kushaq.
The new VW Taigun will be up to 95% localized and powered by TSI engine with two engine options, 1L TSI and 1.5L TSI and three transmissions offering a wide array of choices to the customers. The carline will endorse new-age design, cutting-edge technology and advanced features
On the exterior the new Taigun gets prominent Volkswagen front grille with chrome applique, new Volkswagen logo, LED headlamps with LED DRL, 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels , striking LED headlamps, width spanning continuous LED tail-lamps wrapped in piano finish and an exclusive GT offering.
Inside the new VW SUV gets ventilated leather front seats, Ambient lighting , Smart storage spaces, flattened tunnel at rear. It has a spacious & roomy interior, owing to a long wheelbase of 2651 mm along with a modern dashboard layout with decor inserts.
Further, the bold and sporty SUV comes with Digital cockpit, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Auto AC with touch control, rear view camera, Multi-function leather wrapped steering wheel, Electric sunroof, My Volkswagen Connect , Wireless AppConnect, Apple Carplay, Android Auto and Type C & USB charging ports.
