Nissan India has announced the price and commenced bookings of the all-new Nissan Magnite across all Nissan dealerships in the country and on its website. The new compact SUV is available at a special introductory price of INR 4.99 Lakh (ex-showroom) until December 31, 2020.

The new Nissan Magnite SUV is available with two engine options. The first option is a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This motor generates 71 BHP @ 6,250 rpm and 96 Nm @ 3,500 rpm. The second option is a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This unit churns out 99 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 160 Nm @ 2,800-3,600 rpm.
While both engines are coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission, customers opting the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine can choose to get the optional X-TRONIC CVT. This combo of the engine and gearbox makes 99 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 152 Nm @ 2,200-4,400 rpm.
The Nissan Magnite features a dominating hexagonal front grille, bi-projector headlamps with L-shape LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), LED tail lamps and 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. It also comes with Around View Monitor (AVM), which gives the driver a virtual bird’s eye view from above the vehicle.
Inside, the Magnite comes with an all-black interior. It gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with 6 speakers, voice recognition as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The SUV also gets Nissan Nissan Connect, that offers 50+ features (geofence, roadside assistance, smartwatch connectivity etc.) to transform the car as per customer needs.
Further, the compact SUV gets Cruise Control, a 7-inch TFT meter with welcome animation and tyre pressure monitoring system. Customers can also opt for an air purifier, wireless charging, puddle lamps and ambient lighting.
The all-new Nissan Magnite is claimed to have been developed in compliance with Indian safety regulations to ensure customer safety. It is equipped with safety features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), speed-sensing door lock, central locking and SRS dual airbag system with pretension & load limiter seatbelt for driver and passenger.

The new Magnite SUV comes in 8 colour options – Onyx Black, Flare Garnet Red, Sandstone Brown, Vivid Blue & Storm White, Blade Silver, Storm White and Flare Garnet Red & Onyx Black.
Along with the new SUV, Nissan India has also launched a first-in-industry virtual test drive feature that allows the customer to experience the all-new Nissan Magnite on their device, wherever they may be. This interactive drive experience gives Nissan customers a unique chance to drive the ‘charismatic’ SUV with a virtual sales consultant.
