The new Verna comes with three engine options – a 1.0 Litre Turbo GDi engine with 7 Dual Clutch Transmission, a 1.5 Litre BS6 Petrol motor with 6-speed Manual Transmission & Intelligent Variable Transmission and a 1.5 Litre BS6 CRDi Diesel engine with 6-speed Manual Transmission & 6-speed Automatic Transmission.
The 1.5L MPi Petrol Engine makes 115 PS @ 6300 rpm and 145 Nm @ 4500 rpm. The 1.5 l U2 CRDi Diesel motor churns out 115 PS @ 4000 rpm and 250 Nm @ 1500-2750 rpm. 1.0 l Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol engine produces 120 PS @ 6000 rpm and 172 Nm @ 1500-4000 rpm.
Visual impact is of the new Hyundai Verna is heightened by the signature cascading chrome grille. The sedan gets new swept back projector headlamps with LED DRL & Positioning lamp. At the side an upswept beltline, embellished with chrome moulding, complete the sporty, dynamic look.
The new model also gets aerodynamically designed and electronically adjustable & foldable body-coloured side mirrors have in-built LED trun indicators for style and safety. It also comes with new 16-inch Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels.
At the rear, the new Verna gets a redesigned bumper and all new split type LED Tail lamps with LED guides. The car also gets a Shark fin antenna. The Turbo variant comes with a Glossy Black Front Radiator Grille, Sporty Bumper Design and also gets Twin Tip Muffler.
