Bajaj Auto has launched the Dominar 250, a variant of the proven Dominar Sports Tourer. The company says that the new variant will make it attractive for riding enthusiasts to enter the world of touring.

The new 250cc variant of the Dominar is available at a price of INR 1,60,000 (ex-showroom in Delhi).
The new offering features liquid-cooled 248.8cc DOHC engine, delivering 27 PS power and 23.5 Nm of torque. Further, it retains all the technological and class-leading features of the Bajaj Dominar 400 like the up-side-down (USD) forks and the twin-barrel exhaust.
The Dominar 250 also features bungee straps tucked under the seat to help secure gear during long-distance touring, a redesigned secondary display showing time, gear position and trip information, and spacecraft inspired tank pad decals.
The motorcycle also comes with twin channel ABS, slipper clutch and is built on a beam type perimeter frame. At the front, the Dominar 250 gets a 37 mm telescopic USD fork with 135 mm travel and a Multi-step adjustable Mono shock with Nitrox at the rear which has a wheel stroke of 110 mm.
Stopping power for the bike comes from a 300 mm disc at the front and 230 mm at the rear. The two-wheeler rides on 17-inch wheels on both the ends and gets 100/80 size tyre at the front and 130/70 size tyre at the rear. The fuel tank capacity is 13-litres.
The new Bajaj Dominar 250 is available in Canyon Red and Vine Black colour options.
