Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd. is celebrating its first anniversary and to mark this occasion, the motorcycle maker has launched the Jawa Perak Bobber in India. The company had launched the Jawa and the Jawa Forty Two last year and had also showcases the Jawa Perak as a factory custom.
2019 Jawa Perak Price:
The single-seater bobber motorcycle is priced at INR 1,94,500/- (ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings will begin from 1st January 2020.
The new Jawa Perak is a bobber style factory custom motorcycle which is powered by a BS-VI compliant, 334 cc liquid cooled, single cylinder, four stroke, DOHC engine. This motor produces 30 bhp or power and 31 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The chassis of the Jawa Perak is tweaked with an all-new swingarm which has been engineered to offer optimum transverse, longitudinal, torsional rigidity. The frame and the swingarm have been tuned for a linear feel and to aid stability.
The twin Jawa exhaust are chopped for the authentic bobber stance. The factory custom also gets bobbed fenders and a floating seat. The Perak embodies the spirit of Stealth, Vigilante and Dark. Almost all of the parts on the bike are coated in black to give it a menacing look.
At the front, the bike gets telescopic forks and a monoshock suspension at the rear. Both the ends get disc brake setup with dual-channel ABS. A circular tail lamp is placed below the seat. There is no option for a pillion seat offered and the rear fender sits flush with the wheel.
Classic Legends also recently introduced the Jawa Anniversary Edition in India to mark the 90th anniversary of the Jawa Motorcycles. This motorcycle is built as a homage to the beginnings of the brand in 1929.
The edition was limited to just 90 units and featured a special colour scheme inspired by the Jawa 500 OHV which was the first ever Jawa to rollout in Czechoslovakia. Each of these limited edition will feature a commemorative emblem on the fuel tank with its individual serial number out of 90.
