The much awaited Hyundai Venue has been officially launched in India. The compact SUV is offered with three engine options and comes with loads of features. India also becomes the world’s first market where the Venue will be available. The Venue is also India’s first connected SUV to be on sale in the country.

The new Hyundai Venue is offered with a 1.2-litre Kappa Dual VTVT Petrol engine which produces 83 PS at 6000 rpm and 114 Nm torque at 4000 rpm. This motor is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The other option is Kappa 1.0-litre Turbo GDI Petrol Engine which makes 120 PS at 6000 rpm and 171 Nm torque at 1500-4000 rpm. This engine comes with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission).
Diesel lovers can opt for the 1.4-litre U2 CRDi Diesel engine. This motor is capable of producing a maximum power of 90 PS at 4000 rpm and 220 Nm torque at 1500-2750 rpm. The diesel engine comes coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The new Venue is available in 10 colour options including 3 dual tone options – Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Denim Blue, Lava Orange, Stardust, Deep Forest, Denim Blue with Polar White roof, Lava Orange with Phantom Black roof and Polar White with Phantom Black roof.
The exterior features of the new Hyundai Venue include Dark Chrome Front Grille which adds a premium appeal to SUV. It also gets split type headlamps with the unique positioning of Headlamps and Turn Indicators which give it a distinct look. The cube-shaped Projector Headlamps fully surrounding LED DRL adds to the distinctive and modern looks to the front of the SUV.
Further, the new Venue also gets Premium LED tail lamps with Crystal Effect, Projector Fog lamps, Electric Folding and Electric Adjustment of the ORVM and an Electrically controlled Sunroof. The SUV also comes with Chrome Finish Outside Door Handles, Shark Fin Antenna, Sporty Roof Rails, Silver coloured Skid plates and 16-inch Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels.
Hyundai offers 3 different interior colour themes based on the variant and exterior colour of the SUV – Black single tone, Denim Dual tone and Khaki dual tone. The design of the cabin is clean and simple. The highlight is the AVNT screen which acts as an interface between the driver and Hyundai’s BlueLink technology.
BlueLink is a personal mobility assistant with 33 connected features. It comes with a responsive and dynamic telematics platform that acts as a communication channel between the customer and their car. It’s a voice-response AI enabled technology, with GPS and Blue Link Connect Centre.
