Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has launched the new Hero Xtreme 200S in India. Along with it, the company has also launched the Hero Xpulse 200 and the Hero Xpulse 200T.

The Hero Xtreme 200S is available at a price of INR 98,500/- (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Hero Xtreme 200S is a fully-faired version of the Xtreme 200R. The motorcycle looks very sporty, especially in the red paint job. It gets an Aerodynamic fairing, Twin LED Headlamp, LED Tail lamp and a digital instrument console which comes with Bluetooth connectivity and also provides turn-by-turn navigation. It also gets a sporty looking exhaust.
Power comes from the same engine as on the Xtreme 200R which is a 199.6 cc, Air cooled, 4 Stroke 2 Valve Single cylinder OHC engine. This carburetted motor produces 18.4ps @ 8000 rpm and 17.1 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The new Xtreme 200S rides on 17-inch wheels which are suspended by 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and a 7-step Rider-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Stopping power comes from a 276 mm disc with Single Channel ABS at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear.

The Hero Xtreme 200S is available in three colour options – Sports Red, Panther Black and Maple Brown.
