Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL), a subsidiary of two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan has launched the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 in India.

The new quarter-litre sports motorcycle is priced at INR 1,70,655 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The fully faired bike will be available in two colours- Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Matte Platinum Silver.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is powered by a 249 cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-valve, SOHC, fuel-injected engine. This motor comes with Suzuki Oil Cooling System and is able to produce 26.5 PS of power at 9,000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. It gets mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The sports bike gets disc brakes on both the wheels. It comes with dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on front telescopic forks and swing arm type mono suspension at the rear. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels which are wrapped in 110/70 size tyre at the front and 150/60 size tyre at the rear.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 measures 2010 mm in length, 740 mm in width and 1035 mm in height. The bike has a wheelbase of 1345 mm and a ground clearance of 165 mm. The motorcycle has a seat height of 800 mm and a kerb weight of 161 kg along with a fuel tank capacity of 12L.
The full fairing motorcycle is said to be designed with inspiration from bigger European bikes and the company’s flagship superbike the Hayabusa. The motorcycle features a LED headlamp setup along with a sleek looking LED tail light.
The new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 comes with a Full-Digital Speedo meter, Suzuki Easy Start System and Clip-On Handle Bars. The bike also comes with a premium looking twin exhaust muffler, brushed finished alloy wheels and split type seats.
