Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has launched the new Hero XPulse 200 in India. Along with it, the company has also launched the Hero XTreme 200S and the Hero Xpulse 200T.

The new Hero XPulse 200 is an on-road-off-road bike and is available in two variants – Carburettor and Fuel Injection. The adventure motorcycle rides on spoke wheels of size 21-inch at front and 18-inch at the rear. These wheels are wrapped with dual-purpose tyres. The bike has also been fitted with an aluminium protective bash plate and gets an upswept exhaust.
Power for the Hero XPulse 200 comes from a 199.6 cc, Air cooled, 4 Stroke 2 Valve Single cylinder OHC engine which makes 18.4 PS @ 8000 rpm and 17.1 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Braking duty is carried out by a 276 mm disc with Single Channel ABS at the front and at the rear, the bike gets a 220 mm disc for carb variant and a 220 mm Petal disc for the FI variant.
The offroad ready bike also comes with a full LED headlamp, high mounted front fender, windscreen and knuckle guards. It also gets a digital instrument cluster that has Bluetooth connectivity and displays Turn-by-Turn navigation, trip meter, gear indicator and service reminder.
The motorcycle also gets an under seat USB charger and a fuel tank with a capacity of 13 litres. The seat height is 799 mm and the bike has a ground clearance of 177 mm. The Hero XPulse 200 measures 2223 mm in length, 850 mm in width, 1257 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1412 mm.
Suspension duty is carried out by 37 mm Telescopic front forks with Double DU Bush with 190 mm wheel travel and 10 step Rider-adjustable Monoshock with 170 mm wheel travel. The bike also comes with fork gaiters to protect the front forks during offroad riding.
2019 Hero XPulse 200 Colours:
The new XPulse 200 is available in 5 colours – The carburettor version comes in Sports Red and Panther Black while the fuel injected variant is available in Matte Green, Pearl Fadeless White and Matte Axis Grey.
