Ford India has updated its offering in the premium SUV segment. The new Ford Endeavour now gets a bolder design and enhanced convenience. The SUV is now available in three-trims – 2.2L Titanium Manual, 2.2L Titanium+ Automatic and 3.2L Titanium+ Automatic.

The new Ford Endeavour introduces several purposeful changes to the premium SUVs imposing yet extremely functional design. The redesigned front bumper enhances its rugged appeal while the chrome plated bold trapezoidal grille makes it stand out in the crowd.
Both rear and front bumpers get integrated skid plates which help protect the SUV’s underbody even when driven through extreme off-road terrain. It also comes fitted with new 18-inch alloy wheels. The ORVMs now feature puddle lamps which help to get in and out of the vehicle, even in extremely dark conditions.
The new Ford Endeavour also features 8-way Power Adjustable Driver & Front Passenger Seat along with first-in-class hands-free Power Lift Gate which enables its owners to open the premium SUVs boot by triggering a sensor in the rear at a simple motion of their foot.
The SUV also gets a push-button start and dual-zone automatic climate control. It also the only premium SUV in its segment, right now in India to feature a panoramic sun-roof, covering up to 50% of the roof space.
The new Ford Endeavour also comes with first-in-segment Terrain Management System and seven airbags. Another first-in-class feature that the facelift Endeavour model provides is the Active Noise Cancellation, a technology used in noise-cancelling headphones to help reduce low-frequency engine sounds from entering the cabin.
The new Ford Endeavour continues to offer flexible seating and cargo arrangements, including fold-flat second- and first-in-class power-fold third-row that instantly flattens at the touch of a button and can hold up to 2,010 litres of cargo with rear seats folded.
The interior environment continued to be plush, modern and premium with extensive use of leather. The refined interior surfaces feature superior quality material and exceptional craftsmanship to complement the SUV’s bold exterior design.
The updated SUV also features Ford’s in-car connectivity technology SYNC 3, that allows drivers to use simple voice commands to control the car’s entertainment system, make or receive calls and connect mobile devices. SYNC 3 is paired to an 8-inch touchscreen. The system is also Apple CarPlay and Google Auto compatible.
The Endeavour is a huge SUV, so in order to reduce parking anxiety, it offers Semi-Auto Parallel Park Assist that helps locate the right sized parking spot and steers the SUV effortlessly at the touch of a button.
Keyless entry along with a host of smart features such as rear and front parking sensors, rear parking camera, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, DRLs, dual-zone automatic climate control also get offered across the range.
2019 Ford Endeavour Colour Options:
The new Endeavour will be available in five colours, including brand new Diffused Silver as well as Sunset Red, Diamond White, Absolute Black and Moondust Silver.
The new Ford Endeavour comes with an option to choose from Ford’s two, diesel engines — 2.2-litre four-cylinder TDCi and 3.2-liter five-cylinder TDCi.
Customers looking for optimum fuel economy without compromising performance can choose the 2.2-litre diesel motor that puts out 160 PS of power and 385 Nm of torque. This engine will now be paired to a six-speed manual transmission as well along with automatic.
With the new introduction of a manual transmission, the 2.2L engine will deliver a best-in-segment 14.2 kmpl fuel economy. The Automatic transmission will continue delivering a fuel economy of 12.62 kmpl
For customers who want more performance, Ford continues to offer its 3.2L diesel engine that generates 200 PS of power and 470 Nm of torque. This engine has been tuned to deliver maximum power and torque and is perfect for frequent off-road adventures.
The true, blue SUV features a clever four-wheel-drive system, an active transfer case with Torque on demand, first-in-segment Terrain Management System, and the impressive water-wading capacity of 800 mm along with outstanding ground clearance.
The Advanced Terrain Management System (TMS) allows drivers to choose from four preset modes – Normal, Snow/Mud/Grass, Sand and Rock – that alter the vehicle’s throttle response, transmission, four-wheel drive system and traction control to confidently tackle any situation.
The SUV will also feature Hill Launch Assist and Hill Descent Control that make steep uphill or downhill climbs more convenient and easier for drivers.
