The new Nissan Kicks has been launched in India. The SUV is manufactured at the company’s plant at Oragadam, Chennai and is available at an introductory starting price of INR 9.55 Lakh. The new Kicks will be available in four variants, XL, XV, XV Premium, and XV Premium+ in diesel, and two dynamic variants- XL, XV in petrol.

The Kicks petrol variant is powered by the 1.5L H4K engine which develops 106 PS and 142 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The diesel Kicks model is powered by the 1.5-litre K9K dCi motor which makes 110 PS and 240 Nm. It comes coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The petrol variant delivers an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 14.23 kmpl, while the diesel model delivers 20.45 kmpl.
Feature-wise, the new Nissan Kicks come loaded with first in class Around View Monitor Display (AVM) 360 degree Camera, LED Projector Headlamps with LED Signature Lamp, 17-inch 5-spoke machined alloy wheels and 8-inch Floating infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
The SUV also comes with NissanConnect with smartwatch connectivity, Rain-Sensing Wipers, Cruise Control, Auto Headlamps, 6-way driver adjustable seats, automatic climate control, power-adjustable wing mirrors with integrated turn indicators and push start/stop button.
Safety wise, Nissan has equipped the new Kicks SUV with 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill start assist, rear fog lamps, rear defogger and rear parking sensors. The new Nissan Kicks can also be personalized with 27 different accessory categories, and tailor-made as per customer requirements.
2019 Nissan Kicks Colour Options:
The new Nissan Kicks will come in 11 exciting colours. Single tone colours include Pearl White, Blade Silver, Bronze Grey, Fire Red, Amber Orange, Deep Blue Pearl and Night Shade. The dual-tone colour scheme is available only on the XV Premium + variant and the options include Bronze Grey with Amber Orange, Pearl White with Onyx Black, Pearl White with Amber Orange and Fire Red with Onyx Black.
