Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. has announced the commencement of bookings for its 2019 CBU (Completely Built Unit) line up. Honda’s 2019 CBU line-up includes the new Gold Wing Tour DCT, CB1000R+, CBR1000RR Fireblade and the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP.

The new Honda Goldwing GL1800 DCT will be available in Candy Ardent Red colour and is priced at INR 27.79 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Honda Gold Wing is said to be one of the best-known bikes in all of motorcycling. It is a machine that single-handedly defines what a touring bike should be. The 2019 Gold Wing is more athletic and more engaging and has been engineered to provide a greater sense of being one with the bike to the rider. The new model is lighter, more powerful, nimbler, and more engaging. in every way.
The new Gold Wing is powered by the 833cc flat six-cylinder engine which features 4-valves per cylinder and produces peak power of 92.7 kW @ 5500 rpm and torque of 170 Nm @ 4500rpm. The bike gets Throttle by Wire, with 4 rider modes (TOUR, SPORT, ECON and RAIN) to alter the engine’s character and power delivery.
The motor is mated to the 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Technology) with clutch feel, shift speed and rpm range of up/downshifts tailored specifically to each riding mode. It also features a creep forward and back function.
Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) maintains rear wheel traction while the suspension damping and Combined Brake System (CBS) alter depending on mode selected. The touring motorcycle also gets Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Idling Stop which add to the ease of use.
The new Honda Gold Wing now gets Apple CarPlayTintegration and Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) as stabndard. It also features an electric windscreen which is adjustable for angle & height along with a trunk, and a host of other touring-bike features.
