TVS Motor Company has launched the TVS Jupiter Grande variant in India. The scooter now comes with added features and a new colour scheme.

The new TVS Jupiter Grande variant features a LED headlight with LED position lamps and gets diamond-cut alloy wheels with the disc variant. The scooter now also comes with a semi-digital instrument console. Customers can also opt for a USB charging port as an optional accessory.
Other new features include a maroon-coloured quilted seat cover and body coloured pillion grab rail. The scooter is also offered in the new Starlight Blue paint scheme which gets the interior panels finished in beige colour. There is also a chrome embellishment on the front fender along with chrome rear view mirrors and a chrome exhaust shield.

Mechanically, the TVS Jupiter Grande brings no change. The scooter continues to be powered by a 109.7 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, OHC engine. This motor is mated to a CVT and produces a max power of 8 bhp at 7,500 rpm along with a max torque of 8 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It is mated to a CVT.
The TVS Jupiter rides on 12-inch wheels on both ends. It gets telescopic forks at the front as standard while it gets gas-filled shock absorber at the rear. The scooter also gets Sync Brake System as standard with drums brakes on both the end. The top-spec variant comes with a front disc brake.
