Skoda Auto India has launched the Superb Sportline variant for the Indian market. The sporty yet luxurious sedan will be available with two engine options and three exterior paint finishes.

The Skoda Superb Sportline gets distinct features to make it look apart from the regular variants. The car saloon gets glossy black details on exterior parts such as the side-view mirrors, front grill, side window frames, side door inserts and rear lip spoiler. The car also comes equipped with 17-inch dual tone Drakon alloy wheels, a rear diffuser with chrome highlights, and the “SPORTLINE” badge on both front fenders.
Inside, the Skoda Superb Sportline comes with Carbon decor with LED ambient lighting. The three-spoke SuperSport multifunction steering wheel with paddle-shift is wrapped in black perforated leather and gets silver stitching. The Satin black Alcantara Sports Seats with integrated headrests and diamond stitching further enhance the sporty appeal of the luxury sedan.
The driver and front passenger seats are electrically-adjustable and come with three programmable memory functions. This variant also features chrome front and rear door sill strips with ‘SUPERB’ inscription. The car also has a three-zone climate control system, rear view camera, with an integrated washer, a removable LED boot light along with an illuminated and cooled Jumbo Box.

Skoda is offering the Superb Sportline in 3 shades which include Moon White, Velvet Red and Steel Grey options.
Apart from the above features the new Superb Sportline also comes with an 8-inch floating touchscreen display with proximity sensor which is a part of the new generation Amundsen infotainment system developed by Skoda. It is equipped with SmartLink technology which supports MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
The Sportline variant is powered by the 2.0 TDI (AT) diesel engine and the 1.8 TSI (AT) petrol engine from the Skoda Superb model range. The 1.8 TSI engine produces 180PS (132kW) of power and a torque output of 250 Nm while delivering fuel efficiency of 14.81 kmpl. The 2.0 TDI (A) engine delivers 177 PS (130kW) of power and a peak torque output of 350Nm while delivering fuel efficiency figures of 18.66 kmpl. The petrol motor is coupled to a 7-speed DSG, while the diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed DSG.
Standard safety features in the Skoda Superb Sportline includes eight airbags and five three-point seatbelts.
