India Kawasaki Motors has launched the 2019 Kawasaki Z650 for the Indian market. The motorcycle is priced at INR 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Kawasaki Z650 is available only in the Metallic Flat Spark Black / Metallic Spark Black paint scheme. The Z650 is influenced by the Sugomi Design philosophy. It comes with eye-catching stunning looks and gets graphical changes for the MY2019 model.
The 2019 Kawasaki Z650 retains the same liquid-cooled parallel twin engine with DOHC, 8 valves. This motor produces 67 bhp @ 8,000 rpm and 65.7 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.
The chassis frame of Z650 weighs only 15 kg and contributes significantly to the bike’s light, nimble handling. Features such as Assist & slipper clutch and economical riding indicator make Z650 a complete package. Besides, its handling, ergonomics and suspension offer rider unique comfort & confidence to ride mid-weight naked class alight.
The Kawasaki Z650 features a 15 litres fuel tank. Braking power comes from dual 300 mm petal discs at the front and a 220 mm petal disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch lightweight alloy wheels which are wrapped in 120/70ZR sized tubeless tyres at the front and of the size 160/60ZR at the rear. The Z650 is suspended on 41 mm telescopic front forks and gets a back-link preload adjustable mono-shock at the rear.
