Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has introduced the Next Gen Verna Anniversary Edition in India as a celebration of the sedan’s 1st anniversary. The Hyundai Verna Anniversary Edition is based on the SX(O) variant and is available in both diesel and petrol variants. Hyundai will be producing only 1000 units of this special edition.

The new Verna Anniversary Edition sports the Marina Blue colour which we have earlier seen on Hyundai products such as the Elantra, i20 Elite and Grand i10. It also comes in the Polar White shade as well. The car also gets Front and Rear Skid Plate, Rear Spoiler, Wireless Phone Charging and Anniversary Edition Emblem.
The special edition also gets Black Outside Rear View Mirror (ORVM) and Shark Fin Antenna but this is limited only to the Marina Blue colour. For the Polar White option, the shark fin antenna and the ORVMs will be body coloured.
Other features available with the Verna Anniversary Edition include Sunroof, Ventilated Seats, Smart Trunk, and Telematics. The interiors boast of all black upholstery with contrast blue stitching, refreshed & sporty all-black theme dashboard with blue colour accents on the AC vents that enhance the contours.

The petrol variant of the Hyundai Verna Anniversary Edition is powered by the 1.6-litre engine which generates 123 PS and 151.022 Nm. It comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The diesel variant of the limited edition car comes equipped with the 1.6-litre turbocharged engine which produces 128 PS and 258.90 Nm. This motor is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
