Royal Enfield Classic Signals Edition with ABS launched in India; Priced at INR 1.62 Lakh

Royal Enfield has launched the Classic Signals Edition motorcycles in India. The Royal Enfield Classic Signals Edition pays tribute to the heroes of the Indian Armed Forces, who used these bikes on special operations. It is also the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to feature ABS in the Indian market.

The Royal Enfield Classic Signals Edition is based on the Classic 350 model and will be available with the dealers across India, unlike the Classic Pegasus Edition which was sold only via the website flash sale.

The limited edition motorcycle is priced at INR 1,61,984 Lakh (ex-showroom Pune).

Royal Enfield Classic Signals Edition Airborne Blue 2018

The Royal Enfield Classic Signals Edition features a unique serial number marking on the tank along with a metal Royal Enfield logo finished in gold and green, thus making each motorcycle exclusive. The bike also comes with a single seat which is wrapped in dark tan upholstery and gets a black bezel for the circular headlamp.

The side mirrors, leg guard, wheels, engine, crankcase and the exhaust are all finished in matte black. Royal Enfield is also offering a wide range of accessories including Flyscreen, Canvas Panniers, Engine Guards, Jerry Can and Solo Rear Rack. Customers can also opt for the optional, touring seats, windshield kit and cast aluminium wheels among others to make their bike unique.

Owners can choose from the new Royal Enfield Gear which has been inspired by timeless uniforms of the armed forces and provisioned with protective armours. These include riding jackets, helmets, gloves, as well as binoculars and a duffle bag.

Power for the Royal Enfield Classic Signals comes from the same unit as on the Classic 350 which is the 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor produces 19.8 BHP @ 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Stopping power for this motorcycle comes from a 280 mm disc with a 2-piston calliper at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear with a single-piston calliper. This model now comes with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The Classic 350 Signals Edition is available in two colour options – Storm Rider Sand and Airborne Blue.
