Nissan India has launched an updated version of the Micra hatchback in the country. This is the not the new generation model which is on sale in the international market. The 2018 Nissan Micra is available at a starting price of INR 6.20 Lakh across India. The company also sells the cheaper Micra Active model which is priced at INR 5.03 Lakh.
The 2018 Nissan Micra has introduced safety features such as Dual Airbags, Speed warning device, Speed-sensing Door Lock and Driver Seat Belt Reminder. The hatchback also gets a 6.2-inch Touch Screen Infotainment system with Navigation and Phone mirroring. It also comes with Turn Indicators on ORVM, Reverse parking sensors and Reverse parking camera. Other features include Keyless entry and push-stop-start via intelligent Key, and ‘Lead Me to Car’.
NissanConnect – an integrated connected car technology is also available in the new Micra. Features like geo-fencing, speed alert, curfew alert, nearby pit stops, Locate My Car and Share My Car Location address the rising concerns regarding the safety and security of car users along with the control and well-being of the vehicle.
Customers of the new Nissan Micra have a choice of two powertrains – a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with the X-Tronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), or a 1.5-litre diesel paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
2018 Nissan Micra Colours:
The updated Micra is available in 5 colours – Brick Red, Turquoise Blue, Blade Silver, Onyx Black and Storm White.
