Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has launched a refreshed version of the Honda Jazz for the year 2018. The hatchback now comes with more convenience and safety features. Honda has also added 2 new colours to the list.

The 2018 Honda Jazz will now be available in 2 grades in Petrol – V and VX and 3 grades in Diesel – S, V and VX with manual transmission. Responding to the market trend of higher acceptance and demand for automatic transmission, Honda has also made the Jazz CVT available in both V and VX grades in petrol.
Changes to the exterior of the 2018 Honda Jazz in India are minimal. It does not get the new look which the international model comes with. The India-spec new Jazz features the Signature Rear LED Wing Light and Chrome Door Handles as an update.
The 2018 Honda Jazz is now equipped with the 17.7cm Digipad 2.0 Advanced Touchscreen Infotainment system with Audio, Video and Navigation. It also gets BlueTooth Audio, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity and rear camera display.
Other features include a Front Centre Armrest, Central Lock Hand Switch and Driver Side Vanity Mirror. Honda also claims that the new Jazz comes with improved NV performance. It is also equipped with Rear Parking Sensors and Speed-sensing Auto Door Lock.
The diesel and CVT variants of the Honda now feature One Push Start/ Stop Button with White and Red illumination, Honda Smart Key System (Touch sensor based) with Keyless Remote and Cruise Control.
Powertrain options for the updated Jazz remain the same as the previous model. Its petrol variant continues to draw power from a 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine which produces 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque. It is paired either with a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT.
The diesel variants are powered by the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that generates 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque. It is mated to a standard 6-speed manual transmission.

The 2018 Jazz is available in 5 exterior colours – Radiant Red Metallic (new), Lunar Silver Metallic (New), Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic and White Orchid Pearl.
