BMW India has launched a new base variant of the 3 Series Gran Turismo in the country. The BMW 320d GT Sport is priced at INR 46.60 Lakh (ex-showroom, India) and is available in only with a diesel engine.

The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport in India is powered by a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 190 bhp at 4,000 rpm 400 Nm at 1750-2500 rpm. This motor is mated to an 8-Speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels.
The BMW 320d GT Sport can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.7 seconds. It also gets the BMW Driving Experience Control system which offers four different driving modes – Comfort, ECOPRO, Sport, and Sport +.
On the outside, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport gets new automatic twin-pod LED headlights and L-shaped LED tail lights. It also gets the kidney grille with the slats finished in high gloss black and air intakes with an aluminium finish.
The 320d GT Sport also comes with aluminium front door sills with BMW branding and gets high-gloss trims at the front and back. The tailpipe is also finished in a black chrome look. The exterior colour option includes – Alpine White, Black Sapphire and Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect.
Inside, the BMW 320d GT Sport comes with a leather steering wheel with Red contrast stitching and paddle shifters. It also gets sports seats as standard and the leather interior comes with Ash Grain wooden trim and Pearl Chrome inlays.
Other features of the entry-level model include8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connectivity and Navigation. It also gets a 205 Watt, 9-speaker audio system.
The car also comes with the BMW iDrive Touch with handwriting recognition and 2-zone automatic climate control. It also gets 18-inch twin-five-spoke alloy wheels, head-up display, panoramic sunroof and rain sensing wipers.
Standard safety features of the BMW 320d GT Sport include airbags, ABS with Brake Assist and Cornering Brake Control, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Traction Control, Launch Control, rearview camera and ISOFIX child safety seat anchors.
