Tata Motors seems to be getting ready to launch a new limited edition for its compact sedan – Tigor. A Tata Tigor Buzz limited edition variant in Berry Red colour was recently spotted outside a Tata Motors dealership.
The limited edition could be similar to the Tata Tiago Wizz model which was launched in September last year. It will get some cosmetic changes applied to make it look unique.
The Tata Tigor Buzz will not come in the top end variant and is most likely to be based on either the XE, XM or XT grade. The limited edition model features a gloss black finish on the roof and ORVMs and also gets Buzz badging. It will also get red highlights on the grille and wheel covers.
Inside, the Tigor Buzz limited edition gets red highlights around the AC vents and also comes with the basic Harman ConnectNext infotainment system.
No mechanical changes are expected and the Tata Tigor Buzz will continue to be powered by the same powertrain options as the regular models.
The Tigor comes equipped with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine which produces 84 BHP @ 6000 rpm and 114 Nm @ 3500 rpm. The diesel variant gets its power from the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder Revotorq motor which churns out 69 BHP @ 4000 rpm and 140 Nm @ 1800-3000 rpm. Both engines come equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox and get City and Eco driving modes as standard.
