Jeep India had launched the Compass SUV in the Indian market last year in July. Since its launch, the company has managed to sell more than 25,000 units of the locally made SUV which is manufactured at the FCA and Tata Motors-owned facility in Ranjangaon, Maharashtra. To mark this achievement, the company has now introduced the Jeep Compass Bedrock Limited Edition.
The Jeep Compass Bedrock is based on the Sport trim. The limited edition SUV is offered with Bedrock-branded black coloured seat covers, Bedrock decals on the side body and Bedrock monogram on the front wheel arch. It also gets 16-inch Gloss Black Alloy wheels, Reverse Parking Camera, Sidesteps, black roof rails and premium floor mats.
Other features include 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with voice command and Bluetooth connectivity and keyless entry. The SUV also features dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX anchors, Traction Control, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill Start Assist.
The limited Jeep Compass Bedrock is available in three exterior colours – Vocal White, Minimal Grey and Exotica Red.
The Jeep Compass Bedrock is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder Multijet II diesel engine which produces 173 PS at 3750 rpm and 350 Nm at 1750 – 2500 rpm. This motor is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission and in a 4×2 configuration only.
