Tata Motors is all set to launch the special edition, Tata Tigor Buzz for the Indian market. Team-BHP has shared an official image giving us a look at what the car appears like while IndianAutosBlog has posted certification documents which reveal the car’s specifications.
As seen in the earlier spy shot and this leaked image of the Tata Tigor Buzz, the limited edition model features a number of cosmetic changes which set it apart from the regular version. The car is finished in Berry Red paint and gets red accents on the radiator grille as well as the wheel caps. The Tigor Buzz also features black painted ORVMs and a glossy black roof. There will also be a BUZZ badging at the rear.
As per the certification documents, the Tata Tigor Buzz Edition will be available with both petrol and diesel options and be based on the entry-level XE variant. Among the other standard features available, the Tigor Buzz edition will additionally be equipped with the basic ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman. The car also features dual-tone interiors with piano black finish inserts, sporty red accents and patterned seat fabric.
The petrol Tigor Buzz is powered by the 1.2 L Revotron petrol engine which makes 85 PS at 6000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm while the diesel variant gets the 1.05 L Revotorq motor which produces 70 PS at 4000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 1800-3000 rpm. Both engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
2018 Tata Tigor Buzz Edition Price & Launch Date:
The Tata Tigor Buzz is expected to cost around INR 5 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol variant while the diesel model could cost around INR 6 lakh (ex-showroom). The cars have seemed to reach the dealerships and launch could be imminent.
