Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has launched the new Honda Dio Deluxe variant in the country. This new model of the scooter is priced at INR 53,292 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it about INR 3000 more expensive than the standard version.
The new Honda Deluxe features LED headlamp and position lamps along with a LED DRL. It also comes with gold rims, a new fully digital meter with a 3-step eco speed indicator and sporty graphics with dual tone colours.
Other features of the Dio Deluxe include new metal muffler protector, new front hook and retractable rear hook and 4-in1 lock with smart seat opening. It also gets a service reminder.
Mechanically, the Dio Deluxe variant is the same as the standard model. It continues to be powered by the 110cc, air-cooled HET engine sourced from the Activa 5G. This motor produces 8 bhp and 8.91 Nm of torque.
The scooter rides on 10-inch tubeless tyres and is equipped with 130mm drum brakes on both ends and CBS (combined brake system) with equalizer as standard.
