Indian Motorcycle has launched the 2018 Indian Roadmaster Elite in India. The motorcycle has been priced at INR 48 Lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2018 Indian Roadmaster Elite had made its debut last year and only 300 units of it will be produced. India has been allocated just two examples of this limited edition motorcycle, both of which have been already sold.
This ultra-premium touring machine features a custom-inspired two-tone candy paint. As per the company it takes nearly 30 hours to complete the Cobalt Candy over Black Crystal with 23k Gold Trim paint job which is finished by hand. The real 23K gold leaf badging on the tank and lowers which makes the bike ultra-special.
Feature wise the 2018 Indian Roadmaster gets a 7-inch Indian Motorcycle Ride Command infotainment touchscreen system with Bluetooth, USB connectivity and navigation. It also comes with cruise control, a 300-watt audio system and Keyless ignition.
The touring motorcycle also gets Remote-locking saddlebags and trunk, end to end LED lightning, Tire Pressure Monitoring, and power adjustable windshield. Other features include genuine leather 2-up touring saddle, heated seat and handgrips, leather passenger armrests, spacious floorboards, iconic illuminated chrome headdress, chrome bumpers, Pinnacle chrome mirrors, billet aluminium floorboards and custom gold engine covers.
The Indian Roadmaster Elite is powered by the 1811 cc V-Twin Thunder Stroke engine which produces 150 Nm of peak torque from as low as 2900 rpm. This motor is coupled to a 6-speed transmission. At the front, the motorcycle is equipped with telescopic forks and at the rear, it gets a mono-shock suspension. Stopping power comes from dual 300 mm disc brakes at the front and a single 300 mm disc at the rear. The bike comes with ABS as standard.
