Honda Car India has launched the most-anticipated all-new Amaze in the country. The compact sedan had made its global debut at the Auto Expo 2018. The new 2018 Honda Amaze comes with a starting introductory price of INR 5.59 Lakh (ex-showroom India).

All-prices are ex-showroom India. The prices are introductory for the first 20,000 customers who book the car with and take delivery on or before 31st July 2018.
The second generation Honda Amaze is built on an all-new platform. The car is now bigger and when compared to its predecessor is 5 mm longer and 15 mm wider. The wheelbase has also increased by 65 mm thus creating more room for the passengers.
The 2018 Honda Amaze is available in four variants – E, S, V, and VX for both petrol as well as diesel engine options.
Honda has also introduced the new Amaze diesel model paired to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), which is a first in its segment as well as Honda’s first such technology in the world. Unfortunately, the CVT option is not available on the top of the line VX model.
Among the various features, the top-of-the-line variant of the new Amaze comes equipped with Cruise control, steering with multifunction buttons, Headlamp with LED position lamp, rear parking sensors with camera, Sharkfin antenna, Electrically foldable mirrors with LED indicators, 15-inch split type 5-spoke alloy wheels, engine start/stop button and DIGIPAD 2.0 touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto And Apple CarPlay support.
Safety wise the new Honda Amaze gets Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX anchorages and ACE Body structure as standard.
The petrol variant of the sub-4m sedan is powered by a 1.2-litre engine while the diesel model is equipped with the 1.5-litre motor. Both engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard and also have an option for a CVT with paddle shifters.
The petrol engine makes 90 PS and 110 Nm while the diesel motor churns out 100 PS and 200 Nm. The diesel engine mated to the CVT produces 80 PS and 160 Nm.
The new Amaze comes with 3 years Unlimited kms warranty as standard. Customers can further extend the warranty for the 4th and 5th year as well. Honda will also offer Annual Maintenance Contract Package to lower the service cost.
2018 Honda Amaze Fuel Effieciency (Mileage):
The manual petrol delivers a fuel efficiency of 19.5 km/l while the CVT gives 19 km/l. The diesel manual provides a fuel efficiency of 27.4 km/l while the CVT delivers 23.8 km/l
2018 Honda Amaze Colours:
The new Amaze will be available in 5 exterior colours – Radiant Red, Modern Silver, Golden Metallic Brown, White Orchid Pearl and Lunar Silver.
