Volkswagen India has launched the VW Ameo Pace in the country. With the launch of this edition, the Ameo too is powered by the new 1.0 L MPI engine which was introduced sometime back in the Polo.
Like the Polo Pace which Volkswagen had launched almost a month back, the Ameo Pace Edition too gets some extra cosmetic changes and features. The VW Ameo Pace features glossy black ORVM, glossy black trunk lip spoiler, and cruise control.
While the company hasn’t released details, it is very likely that the VW Pace Edition will be available only in the 1.0L Comfort Line variant just like the Polo Pace model.
The new Volkswagen 3-cylinder 1.0 L MPI engine replaces the 1.2 MPI engine. The new engine produces a peak power of 56 kW (75 hp) and a torque of 95 Nm. The company also claims that the motor has improved fuel efficiency of 18.78 kmpl (as per ARAI).

The VW Ameo Pace will be available at an ex-showroom price of INR 6.10 Lakh
