The all-new Suzuki Ertiga has made its world debut at the 2018 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS 2018). It comes with a new look which somewhat reminds one of the latest Toyota Innova Crysta at the front and the Mitsubishi Xpander at the rear to some extent.

The second generation Ertiga now comes with a wider grille design which is connected with new projector lamps. The MPV features new split-type taillamp design with LED guide lights. It also gets new 15-inch alloy wheels which are wrapped in 185/65 R15 tyres, a dynamic looking front bumper with integrated fog lamps and electrically foldable mirror with indicators.
The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga measures 4395 mm in length, 1735 mm in width, 1690 mm in height. Compared to the previous generation model, the new one is 130 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 5 mm higher. The MPV has a wheelbase of 2740 mm and a turning radius of 5.2m which is same as that of the first-gen Ertiga. The ground clearance has been reduced by 5mm from the previous model and now stands at 180 mm.
The new Ertiga features a spacious cabin which is finished in beige colour and gets wood treatment on the dashboard, steering wheel and door trims. It will also feature Push Start/Stop button, touchscreen infotainment system, height adjustable driver seat, new instrument cluster, leather-wrapped steering wheel which can be tilted. It also gets 4-speakers, cooled cup holders and rear parking sensors.
The second generation Ertiga is built on Suzuki’s latest HEARTECT platform. The MPV comes with Dual Airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) and ISOFIX mounts.
Power for the 2018 Suzuki Ertiga in Indonesia comes from the new K15B 1.5L VVT four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 104.7 PS at 6000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm. Customers will have a choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Additionally, the new Ertiga comes with 60:40 split second-row seats which can be slid, 50:50 tilt down folding third-row seats, roof-mounted air vents and dual power outlets for the first and second-row.
The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga offers a luggage space of 153 litres with all the seats up. This capacity can be increased to 550 litres by folding the third-row seats and to 803 litres by folding the second-row seats.
