Jaguar Land Rover India has introduced the Jaguar XE and the Jaguar XF in India with the lightweight and efficient all-aluminium Ingenium petrol powertrain. The Jaguar XE petrol starts from INR 35.99 Lakh while the Jaguar XF petrol starts from INR 49.80 Lakh.
The new 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol motor is offered in both 147 kW (200 PS) and 184 kW (250 PS) outputs and is mated to an 8-Speed Electronic Automatic Transmission with Jaguar Sequential ShiftTM and All Surface Progress Control. The 147 kW powertrain develops 320 Nm of torque at 1500-4000 rpm. While the 184 kW unit generates 365 Nm of torque at 1500 rpm.
The 147 kW powertrain is offered on the XE Pure and Prestige as well as the XF Prestige, while the 184 kW powertrain is offered on the XE Portfolio and XF Portfolio.
