India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has launched the very popular YZF-R3 at the Auto Expo 2018 in the presence of Bollywood star and Yamaha’s brand ambassador John Abraham.
The new YZF-R3 is enabled with dual channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) technology and high grip Metzeler radial tyres. The sports bike will be available in two colour variants – Racing Blue and Magma Black.
The new 2018 Yamaha R3 is equipped with a 321 cc equipped with liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line 2-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. This motor generates 42 PS of power and 29.6 Nm of torque.The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
The new R3 comes with a long swingarm for improved stability. It is built on a diamond type frame that has been made lighter while maintaining excellent rigidity balance. The bike gets telescopic forks at the front and a Motocross type suspension for the rear. The Yamaha R3 is equipped with 29mm disc brake at the front and 220 mm disc for the rear.

2018 Yamaha YZF-R3 Price in India:
The motorcycle will be priced at INR 348,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be available at select authorized Yamaha dealerships.
