Tata Motors has unveiled its new SUV Concept the H5X at the Auto Expo 2018. The Tata H5X Concept is the first vehicle based on the new generation Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture which was developed by Tata Motors in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover. Along with it Tata also showcased the 45X Concept
The Tata H5X is a monocoque SUV that provides a glimpse of the future generation of Tata Motors SUV’s in terms of design, technology and sheer capabilities. The architecture is derived from the legendary Land Rover D8 architecture.
The Tata H5X concept has a very dominating look. It features the brand’s signature Humanity Line at the front which is connected with sleek LED headlamps. Fog lamps are housed behind a Y-shaped grill. It also sports an imposing skid plate.
At the side, the Slingshot line is connected to the wrap around LED tail lamps. The H5X SUV features muscular square wheel arches which are filled up by 22-inch alloy wheels giving a very aggressive stance to the SUV. The interior is very modern and clean. It features a use of mixed materials including wood, leather and soft-touch fabrics.

The diesel-powered Tata H5X SUV measures 4575 mm in length, 1960 mm in width, 1686 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2740 mm.
Engineers at Tata Motors have used their keen understanding of the Indian market to adapt it further for Indian conditions. The H5X SUV has all the attributes with the legendary pedigree running through its veins that shatters all current benchmarks and paves entirely new standards for SUVs in India.
