Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer has launched the much awaited all-new Swift at a price of INR 4.99 Lakh.

The new Maruti Swift is now more aerodynamic and features a new bold hexagonal grille design and a floating roof. It comes with sleek LED projector headlamps with a signature LED DRL design and stylish two-tone alloy wheels on the top of the line variant. It also now comes with rear LED combination lamps.
Inside, the new Swift gets a sporty looking all black cabin. It features a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering and trims in urbane satin chrome finish on the instrument panel, steering, doors and speedometer rings. It even gets a 60:40 split rear seat.
Power for the new Swift comes from Maruti Suzuki’s trusted K12 VVT and DDiS 190 engines which are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The new Swift now also offers the Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology in both petrol and diesel trims.
Other key features include 7-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System which is compatible with Android Auto, Apple Carplay and MirrorLink and Electrically foldable and adjustable outside rear view mirrors with turn indicators. It also includes Push Start/Stop button, Steering Mounted Controls, Automatic Climate Control and a Smart Key.
The new Maruti Swift is based on the latest Suzuki HEARTECT platform and is around 90 kg lighter than the outgoing model. This new platform employs high tensile steel in the right places to improve safety, rigidity and NVH performance. The hatchback comes equipped with Dual front airbags and ABS with EBD and ISOFIX anchorages.
2018 Maruti Swift Colours:
The new Swift will be available in six vibrant colours – Prime Lucent Orange (New), Prime Midnight Blue, Solid Fire Red, Pearl Arctic White, Metallic Silky Silver and Metallic Magma Grey.
