DC Design has unveiled yet another sports car – the TCA at the Auto Expo 2018. Earlier the company had launched the DC Avanti which was claimed to be the first made in India supercar.
The name TCA is an abbreviation for ‘Titanium, Carbon and Aluminium’. The sports car is said to draw inspiration from the likes of the La Ferrari and the Pagani Zonda. The DC TCA is powered by a Euro 6 compliant 3800 cc engine which produces 320 hp. This motor is coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The DC TCA offers futuristic exterior and interior design. It uses exotic materials, contemporary audio video electronics and instrumentation. The car was designed with an aim to provide the most exquisite features to the discerning Indian connoisseur keeping in mind the Indian operational conditions.
The DC TCA will be available for a limited production run of 299 cars. Each of these will be personally signed by the dreamer and creator Dillip Chabbria, whose goal is to put India at the forefront of design, quality and now supercars, a feat that even today not many countries can boast of.
