Honda Cars India Ltd has launched the Honda Amaze Pride Edition in the country. Earlier too in July last year, the company had launched a similar Privilege Edition.

Based on the S(O) variant, the Honda Amaze Pride Edition gets the Pride Edition Emblem, Door Edge Garnish and Rear Parking Sensors for the exterior.
Inside this special edition is equipped with Honda’s Digipad, the Revolutionary 17.7cm Advanced Infotainment with Audio, Video and Navigation System. It also comes with Pride Edition Premium Seat Covers, Front Centre Arm Rest and a Steering Wheel Cover.

Mechanically the special edition Amaze is identical to the regular variant. The petrol model is powered by the 1.2L i-VTEC engine which produces 88 PS @ 6000 rpm and a torque of 109 Nm @ 4500. The diesel variant gets its power from the 1.5L i-DTEC motor which churns out 100 PS @ 3600 rpm and a torque of 200 Nm @ 1750 rpm. Both engines are equipped with a 5-speed transmission.
