Maruti Suzuki, the largest car maker in India has launched the CelerioX in the country. It is basically a visually upgraded model of the new Maruti Celerio hatchback to make it look like a crossover. The Maruti Suzuki CelerioX is aimed at the young, progressive and aspirational buyers.

The new Maruti CelerioX is designed with the X-theme based graphic around the grille in front. It gets protective cladding in black finish on the wheel arches, on the bottom part of the doors and the side skirts. The rear bumper too gets the black treatment and also gets a pseudo skid plate which gives this small city car an aggressive look.
The fog lamp enclosure, front grill, outside rearview mirrors, B-pillar and the door handles are finished in black. It also gets black roof rails which add to the crossover image. Finally, to complete the look, Maruti has given the CelerioX black alloy wheels.
The Maruti Suzuki CelerioX gets an all-black interior. To enhance its appeal and make it look a bit more sporty the company has added white accents and the seats get orange highlights. Apart from that, the interior remains almost identical to the normal version of the Celerio.

Mechanically, the Maruti CelerioX is same as the normal Celerio. It is powered by the same K10B 998cc engine which produces 67 hp @ 6000 rpm and a torque of 90 Nm @ 3500 rpm. This motor is coupled to either a 5-speed manual transmission or the Auto Gear Shift (AGS/AMT) system.
2017 Maruti Suzuki CelerioX Colours:
The Maruti CelerioX comes with all new Paprika Orange as its signature colour. Other options include Arctic White, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown and Torque Blue.
