Yamaha Motor India has launched the new MT-09 Hyper naked motorcycle at an ex-showroom price of INR 10.88 Lakh. The new 2018 Yamaha MT-09 is brought to India via the CBU route.

The new Yamaha MT-09 is based on the concept of a multi-performance neo-roadster. It borrows the new twin-eye LED headlight from its bigger brother, the Yamaha MT-10.
The front winglets and radiator side fins give the Yamaha MT-09 an ultra-sharp look. It also features a short rear fender that is mounted on a single-sided swingarm and also acts as a number plate holder.
Power for the new MT-09 comes from an 847 cc 3-cylinder liquid cooled DOHC engine which produces 115 PS at 10000 rpm, and 87.5 Nm of torque at 8500 rpm. This motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch and a Quick Shift System. The hyper naked motorcycle also gets a switchable two-mode traction control system.
