Lexus India has showcased its next hybrid electric vehicle the Lexus NX 300h SUV. The luxury car maker had entered the Indian auto market in March 2017. The NX 300h will be the 4th addition to the brand’s product portfolio in India which currently includes the Lexus RX 450h, Lexus ES300h and the Lexus LX 450d.
The Lexus NX300h will be available in India in two variants – the F Sport and Luxury models. The SUV features LED triple-projector-beam headlamps and dramatically styled front and rear fascias. The new LED tail lamps ARE inspired by the facets of a cut gemstone and are just one of the many details that set NX apart.

Powering the Lexus NX300h is the Lexus Hybrid Drive with a BS6 compliant 2.5 litre, 4-cylinder in-line engine. The system produces 145 KW max power and 210 Nm of torque. The NX300h delivers an ARAI certified mileage of 18.32 kmpl.
The hybrid SUV features Lexus’ first kick-sensor-activated power rear door, first-in-class power-folding and power-reclining rear seats. It also gets an incredible hi-fi Mark Levinson system with ClariFi technology featuring 14 speakers that are tuned to provide a robust entertainment experience.
The new Lexus NX also features a 360-degree panoramic surround view monitor, which uses four high-definition cameras to simulate a top-down view of the vehicle.
It also gets a 10.3-inch split-screen multimedia display that provides simultaneous access to audio and climate controls and various systems, including the next-generation navigation system that is coupled with a full color heads-up display.
The 2018 Lexus NX300h also features full-size Panoramic roof, Illuminated handles, Wireless Charging, Stop and Start System, EV Drive mode, Drive Mode Select – Normal, Eco, Sport, Sport S+, And Custom, Adaptive Variable Suspension and Gravity Ball Sensor amongst other features.
Safety features for the Lexus NX300h include 8 airbags, ABS, Vehicle Stability Control an Anti-theft system. It also comes with Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Hill Start Assist and Traction Control System.

The Lexus hybrid SUV is available in an exciting choice of exterior colours which include Sonic Quartz, Mercury Gray Mica, Platinum Silver Metallic, Sonic Titanium, Black, Graphite Black Glass Flake, Red Mica Crystal Shine and Sparkling Meteor Metallic. The Amber Crystal Shine option is available on with the Luxury variant while the White Nova Glass Flake, Lava Orange Crystal Shine and Heat Blue Contrast Layering are exclusive to the FSport model.
