Hyundai and Blood Type Racing have joined hands to develop the BTR Edition Hyundai Elantra Sport concept for the 2017 SEMA show. The concept is not about just sporty looks but also gains many upgrades for an impressive performance as well.
The head-turning concept is built upon the affordable, OEM-level performance and design of the Hyundai Elantra Sport. It features a full aero kit for “All-show, All-go” impressive looks and performance.
“The BTR Edition Elantra Sport takes the Elantra beyond its capable OEM-development roots without sacrificing daily drivability. Building upon the well-developed Elantra Sport platform, powertrain and design fundamentals, we’ve given enthusiasts a new vision of where this affordable sport compact wants to go,” said Sam Lee, product manager, Blood Type Racing.
The list of features of this modified Hyundai Elantra Sport includes Aerotek custom front, side and rear track-ready lip kit along with APR GTC-200 GT wing. It gets an AutoArt body and paintwork in BASF Glasurit Arancio Borealis color.
Inside, the BTR Edition Elantra Sport gets re-stitched OEM-style sport interior, Diamond-stitched floor mats, SoCalGarageWorks carbon-fiber steering wheel and BTR custom Trunk Track Tool Set and custom full-size spare tire. The sporty sedan also gets Diode Dynamics custom headlights and LED interior lighting.
To enhance the performance of this modified Hyundai Elantra Sport, the team at Blood Type Racing have added Torcon CAI intake and Pierce Motorsports exhaust system along with Devil’s Own water/methanol injection system. The modified sedan also gets Engine management custom ECU Tuning by BTR.
The BTR Edition Elantra Sport runs on SSR GTX01 19 x 9.5 +35 wheels with Toyo T1 Sport tires. It is also equipped with HSD Coilover suspension, Pierce Motorsports sway bars, strut tower brace and chassis brace and Fella Big Brake kit.
