Land Rover recently launched the 5th generation Discovery in India. This launch was a bit special as unlike the ones that usually happen inside the premises of a 5-star hotel, this one was held in a setting which was perfect for something like the all-new Land Rover Discovery.

The event took place at a hilltop of the SRPF (State Reserve Police Force) ground in Goregaon East in Mumbai. It was quite surprising to know that such a place with greenery all around is available bang in the middle of a city like Mumbai. The event site was divided into several areas where one could spend time with the all-new Discovery along with their friends and family but the highlight was the Land Rover Experience zone. It was the best way to showcase the most versatile SUV from Land Rover, with class-leading practicality and capability.
The Land Rover Experience zone organised here was not the full off-road kind but had predefined obstacles that had been designed to give a glimpse of what the all-new Discovery is capable of. The SUV was handled by the professional drivers and one was allowed to experience the off-road activity only as a passenger. The 5th generation Discovery that was launched in India comes with both petrol and diesel powertrains. The SUV comes equipped with a host of features such as the world’s first Intelligent Seat Fold system, powered Inner Tailgate and Activity Key amongst others.
It also comes equipped with Auto Access height function, Park Assist, Assist, Lane Keep, Driver Condition Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control with Queue Assist, and 360° Surround Camera, Terrain Response 2, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control and Gradient Release Control.
