The new Triumph Street Triple RS has been launched in India. It joins its recently launched sibling the Triumph Street Triple S. The motorcycle has been priced at INR 10.55 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Powering the Triumph Street Triple RS is the same motor that is on the Street Triple S but it has been tuned to offer more power. The 765 cc Daytona derived race-bred three-cylinder engine churns out 123 PS of power at 11,700 rpm and 77 Nm of torque at 10,800 rpm. This motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The Triumph Street Triple RS gets some additional equipment over the Street Triple S. This variant of the motorcycle comes fitted with Brembo M50 monobloc front brake calipers and Brembo MCS span and ratio-adjustable lever, radial master cylinder. It also gets fully adjustable Showa big piston fork front suspension and Ohlins STX40 fully adjustable rear monoshock.
The bike also comes equipped with various riding modes – Sport, Road, Rain, Rider and an additional ‘Track’ riding mode. It also gets lap timer, Quickshifter and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires.
Some other features that distinguish the Triumph Street Triple RS from the Street Triple S are matt silver painted aluminium rear subframe, body-coloured belly pan and pillion seat cowl and lower chain guard.
