Maruti Suzuki has launched a refreshed version of the Celerio in a move to delight customers this festival season. The 2017 Maruti Suzuki Celerio facelift features visual changes to make it more appealing.
The exterior of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio features a new front end look with a redesigned bumper design along with a sporty mesh front grille which gets a chrome strip on top. The newly designed fog lamp bezels flank the car’s sides and enhance the visual width of the car. The Celerio facelift also features new back door garnish and a revised rear bumper.
Inside the Maruti Suzuki Celerio facelift gets a new seat fabric design for the Black and Greige (Grey + Beige) two-tone interior. The new abstract pattern gives a modern touch to the cabin of the Celerio facelift. The look of the interior is further enhanced by silver accents, fresh seats and door trim fabric design.
Along with the visual upgrades, the new Celerio also meets pedestrian, offset and side impact regulations. It is the 7th model from Maruti Suzuki to meet new car safety norms ahead of its timelines. It comes with standard driver-side airbag and is also equipped with driver side seat belt reminder. Passenger airbags and ABS are offered as an optional variant across all trims.

Powering the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio is a 3-cylinder 998 cc petrol engine. It is mated to a 5-speed manual and also comes with the Maruti Suzuki Auto Gear Shift (AGS/AMT) option. The Celerio also comes in a CNG powered variant.
In petrol mode, this motor produces 50 kW of power at 6000 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. With CNG this engine delivers 43.5 kW of power at 6000 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm.
