Ahead of the festive season, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the Fortuner TRD Sportivo, the sportier edition of one of the most popular SUVs in the Indian auto market. The new Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo edition is available in the 4×2 AT variant and only in Pearl White color.
Designed and developed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD), the newest edition of the Fortuner not only enhances road presence but also the sporty quotient and promises to deliver Toyota’s legendary promise of Quality, Durability & Reliability (QDR).
The 2017 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo features sporty Front and Rear Bumper Spoiler, TRD Radiator Grille along with a Lower Grille Cover, 18-inch TRD Alloy Wheels, TRD inspired exterior accents and TRD Sportivo Badge. Inside the special edition gets Red stitch accents to enhance the sporty feel.
Other key features of the new Fortuner TRD Sportivo include Automatic Bi-beam LED with DRLs, LED Fog lamps, Smart entry with push start and Fully automatic power back door with height adjust memory and jam protection.
It also features a 7-inch tablet inspired touch screen Infotainment with Navigation, Second row one-touch tumble seats, Park assist with back monitor and rear sensors, Large TFT Multi-information Display and Auto Climate Control [Dual AC].
Powering the new Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo is a 2.8 L diesel engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential and paddle shift. It comes with Eco and Power drive modes and Active traction control. The SUV features a robust frame structure that delivers exceptional torsional and bending rigidity even in the most challenging terrains.
