The Renault Captur makes its way into India after turning heads on the streets of Russia, Argentina, Brazil and beyond. The company says the vehicle creates a whole new class of vehicle and is India’s first premium SUV with strong crossover DNA.
Interested buyers can pre-book the Renault Captur through their smartphone by using the Captur App which is available for Android as well as iOS platform for an amount of INR 25,000.

It also comes with ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Cruise Control, Speed Limiter, Hill Start Assist along with Dual front and side airbags.
The Renault Captur is based on the M0 platform which also underpins the Duster. On tape, the SUV measures 4329 mm in length, 1813 mm in width and 1619 mm in height. The Captur has a wheelbase of 2673mm along with a ground clearance of 210 mm.
The new Renault SUV will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. The Renault Captur petrol model will be powered by the 1.5-litre H4K engine which produces a power of 106 hp and 142Nm of torque. The diesel model of the Captur will be powered by the 1.5-litre K9K motor which develops 110 hp and 240 Nm of torque. The petrol engine is coupled with a five-speed manual gearbox while the diesel motor comes with a six-speed manual gearbox.
