Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the country’s second-largest car manufacturer has launched the Hyundai Xcent Prime CNG model. This makes it the first among commercial segment sedans to offer with a factory-fitted CNG unit.

The Hyundai Xcent Prime is basically the last gen Xcent which has been stripped of its features to make it more affordable and cater to the requirements of the commercial buyers. Introducing this model also allows the company to maintain the image of the newly launched 2017 Hyundai Xcent as a private passenger car.
The Hyundai Xcent Prime CNG comes in two trims: T & T+and offers a Best-in-class warranty of 100,000 km / 3 years. The factory fitted CNG has many advantages, it comes with factory fitted Speed Limiting Function (SLF) at no additional cost to end user.
The engine also has been tuned for CNG compatibility. Another advantage of the factory fitted CNG kit is that it eases the registration and financing process. It allows the customer to get registration tax benefit being a compressed natural gas car, in select areas. Additionally, the factory-fitted CNG will save the time of installation post-delivery putting it direct to use.
