Toyota Kirloskar Motor is welcoming the festival season in India with the introduction of the Toyota Etios Cross X-Edition. The limited edition variant of its popular crossover hatchback comes with a host of visual upgrades.
The 2017 Toyota Etios Cross X-Edition comes in a new Quartz Brown exterior paint shade. The unique touches to the limited edition model include black front grille along with black fog lamp bezels. It also gets body-colour cladding and X-Edition badge on the passenger side C Pillar.
Inside the Toyota Etios Cross X-Edition comes with a new carbon fiber finish for the instrument panel and new black and grey seat fabric. It is also equipped with a reverse parking camera and a new 6.8 touchscreen audio system.
Mechanically the limited edition model remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the 1.4-litre diesel engine which produces a power of 68 PS (50 kW) at 3800 rpm and 170 Nm (17.3 kg/m) at 1800-2400 rpm. The petrol variant uses a 1.2-litre engine which generates a power output of 80 PS (59 kW) at 5600 rpm and torque of 104 Nm (10.6 kg/m) at 3100 rpm. Both engines are equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Other key features of the Toyota Etios Cross X-Edition include Roof Rail with Black Finish, Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, Rear Roof Spoiler and Steering Wheel with Sporty Leather Wrap. The crossover is also equipped with Dual SRS Airbags, Driver Seat Belt Warning, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX anchor points.
