Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has launched a new top-end variant of the TUV300. The 2017 Mahindra TUV300 T10 variant comes with enhanced features to its exterior as well as the interior. The company claims this model makes the TUV300 more premium and luxurious.
On the exterior, the Mahindra TUV300 T10 gets a bold front grille with chrome inserts, first-in-class static bending headlamps with carbon black finish, new metallic grey alloy wheels, new metallic grey roof rails, new glossy metallic grey finish on tailgate-mounted spare wheel cover and fog lamps with premium black chrome accents.
The interiors of the Mahindra TUV300 are designed by Pininfarina, the legendary Italian design house. The TUV300 T10 variant features premium looking Faux-Leather seats with diamond stitch pattern. The driver and passenger seats get lumbar support that reduces fatigue and increases comfort and also get individual armrests.
The driver seat is height adjustable while the spacious cabin provides ample legroom and headroom. The third-row seats can be folded to provide 400 litres of luggage which can be increased to 720 litres by folding the second-row seats.
The new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system includes Bluetooth music and calling facility, navigation, video and image playback, BlueSense, driver information system and comes with 4 speakers and 2 twitter. The audio settings can be controlled via the steering mounted audio buttons as well.
The Mahindra TUV300 T10 also features electronically adjustable ORVMs, Tilt-adjustable steering, storage under driver’s seat, power windows, rear defogger, Remote lock and keyless entry, Lead-me-to-vehicle and follow-me-home-lamps, two mobile charging points and Bottle and cup holders on the front of the floor console and also on each of the doors, including the rear tailgate.
The Mahindra TUV300 T10 is powered by a 1.5 litre mHawk 100 diesel engine with 2-stage turbocharger. This motor develops 100 hp of power and 240 Nm of torque. It is available with an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) for an effortless drive or a 5-speed manual gearbox. The SUV is also equipped with Micro-Hybrid Technology, Eco Mode and Brake Energy Regenerative Technology.
Other key features of the Mahindra TUV300 T10 variant include Dual Airbags, ISOFIX mounts for child seats, Automatic Door locking, ABS with EBD and Cushion suspension technology with anti-roll bars.
