Harley-Davidson India has set up its first concept store in the country. The Warrior Harley-Davidson – Kolhapur is a new huge step forward towards the company’s goal to build up its sales and service network pan-India.
Warrior Harley-Davidson is a result of an idea to create a small store which could serve all of the Harley-Davidson Customer Experience concepts in a small form. This unique concept store format is a platform for the brand to reach out to existing customer base in Tier III cities that do not have a retail presence.
The concept store has been designed to improve accessibility for sales and service requirements of Harley-Davidson customers residing in the city and outskirts. It will also ensure that these Harley riders receive an opportunity to be part of H.O.G. events. The new store will further serve as a great platform for motorcycling enthusiasts to interact and learn more about the Harley-Davidson way of life.
Commenting on the launch of the company’s first concept store in India, Marc McAllister, VP and MD International Markets at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, said “Our focus has always been on developing the culture of leisure motorcycling in India. We expect the next level of our growth to come in from Tier II and III cities and expansion to these markets is an important part of our strategy. Our first concept store steps in the same direction by taking the brand closer to enthusiasts and giving them an opportunity to experience the lifestyle.”

Expanding retail presence to Kolhapur was a natural next step for the brand. We are thrilled to inaugurate Harley-Davidson’s first ever concept store in India here. The store houses a bike display, PA & GM display, a customer lounge and service set-up – all within an area of 3000 sq. ft. This will be a one-of-its-kind store in the country for riders, in and around the city, to foster their passion for motorcycles.”
Harley-Davidson has been striving to bring more enthusiasts into the fold of leisure motorcycling and the launch of dealerships across the length and breadth of the country is a testimony to that.
The company has progressively been working towards bringing the brand closer to its existing and prospective customers, across Tier II and Tier III cities who are looking forward to own and enjoy riding a premium motorcycle.
The new concept store will also provide enthusiasts with a variety of Harley-Davidson parts and accessories to customize their motorcycles as well as Motorclothes and merchandise.
